The Founder and CEO of Liberty Grid Solutions leads the company’s mission to deliver high-voltage power transformers and substation solutions tailored for North America’s rapidly growing hyperscale data-center market. With an 18+ year entrepreneurial career in North America, he built a successful real estate investment and development practice specializing in multifamily properties, luxury residential projects, rezoning, and portfolio management. This hands-on experience in capital allocation, project execution, and long-term value creation directly informs the approach to structuring reliable, accelerated supply chains for mission-critical power infrastructure. A graduate of the I.H. Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba (majors in Finance, Accounting, and Small Business Entrepreneurship), the Founder now channels that same drive into solving the industry’s transformer lead-time bottleneck—securing first contracts and building a pipeline across Nevada, California, Texas, Virginia, Georgia, and beyond. Headquartered in Nevada, he is passionate about powering the AI and cloud computing revolution efficiently and on schedule.
Senior Transformer Engineer
Our in-house Senior Transformer Engineer brings deep expertise in the design, specification, and delivery of high-voltage power transformers up to 500 MVA and 500 kV class. With hands-on experience designing and overseeing more than 75 custom transformers for major North American utilities, renewable energy projects, and power generation facilities, he ensures every Liberty Grid Solutions project meets the highest standards of performance, reliability, and compliance. He has led the complete lifecycle of complex transformer projects—including quotation design, transient voltage and electromagnetic field analysis, production-stage inspections, and factory acceptance testing. His portfolio includes large autotransformers (300–500 MVA), variable-flux tie transformers, mobile substations, preventative auto configurations, and windfarm step-up units delivered to leading utilities and energy providers across North & South America. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems focus) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) in Actuarial Mathematics from a top Canadian university. He is a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and an expert in IEEE and CSA standards. His rigorous approach to quality control, technical troubleshooting, and independent performance verification gives Liberty Grid Solutions clients confidence that mission-critical data-center power infrastructure will be delivered on schedule and built to last
